Photoshoot Plan, Loction and Equitment
My photo shot for my music pop magazine will be taking place soon before this I have to plan out what will take place at the photo shot. I will need to take six different images four with the same model and then two with different models. My first photo which I will be taking is a photo for my main image on my front cover I will be doing a medium close up from the whist up. My model will be making shapes with her hands round her face to make the image more interesting, the model which I will be using will be smiling with her mouth open. Her clothing will be a light grey or a light pink but you will only be able to see the top half of it. My second image will also be with the same model but this time she will be wearing pink converse, black trousers and a t-shirt. The model will have an accessory in her hand modelling the prop. The model will be model so she modelling on the random pink shapes that are in the back ground of the magazine.
My final two images of the model will be closes ups of the model that will be used on the content page and the double page spread. They will be a close up of the models face just smiling with the same clothes on which she is wearing on the main image on the front cover. My other two images will be with different models, the first image I will be of two teenage boys one with ginger hair and one with brown hair. They will be wearing causal clothes model around each other one sat on the floor and one stood up behind. The one sat on the floor will be holding a guitar in his hand. My final image will be taken of a brown haired girl will a black top on this will be a medium shot of her walking down the street with shopping bags. I will use the effect of her walking down a high street shopping.
The equipment that I will need when creating my photo shoot will be 4 models, a camera, tripod, the outfits which the models will be wearing, make up, bright lighting, green screen and shopping bags. These are items which will be in my photo shoot and will need to remember. I will be using two different locations for my photo shoot the first place will be a street the street will be a long street with a road in the centre and houses at one side. I will take the image on a cold day but not so it’s raining I want the image to just look cold. The health and safety for this location will be very strict I will have to make sure that the road traffic is not to busy and do it at a reasonable time of the day so that its not to busy so me and my models do not get hurt. I will need to make sure that my models have easy access to a toilet and that we have someone on hand that are trained in first aid. I need to make sure that the weather is a dry day so there is no rain or snow or storms so my model is in a safe environment. I will also have to get permission from my teacher to make sure I will be able of sight to take the images.
My final location on where I will be taking the images will be the performing arts block at my school. Here I will use a green screen or a white back ground that is there. Here is a safe environment for a photo shoot as there is no equipment around where the models can get hurt and also is a bright and airy place. The area is very large and will be enough space of the photo shoot which I want to proceed, there is a good access for the toilets for the models to go and get ready in and also very good access. They can access this building very easily.

Double Page Spread Mock
Finally
here is my double page spread mock once again I have stuck to the same house
style which I have used through the rest of my magazine using the hot pink
random shapes around the page giving it the girly effect. I have also added my
mast head into this I will not be using this font as I will be using the font
that I will be choosing to use throughout my magazine I have decided to put my
mast head for this page in the center I thought that this would add a bit of difference into the page and also because the tile will be in quotations
therefore will be different from the precious pages. On the left hand page I am
going to take a extreme long shot of the model which I have used on the front I
will use a extreme long shot to show the effect of the model standing on the
shapes on the magazine and also to vary out my shots that I have used. On the
first page of my double page spread I have created the mast head to be a third
of the way down using a large font. In the text I will introduce the model with
the text going straight along the page but as it goes into the interview the
page will become into two columns to match the house style of how the content
page is set out. Through out the columns there will be two quotes that I have taken
out of the interview in the same font but in speech marks but larger and in hot
pink to stand out and also to break the text up. Finally, at the bottom of the
last column I will be doing a little bit of advertising placing a small picture
of the single image that will be took with a bit of publishing information
about when the single will be coming out.
Content Page Mock
Here is my mock layout of content page. As you can see I have
carried out the same house style which I used on my main cover with the same
hot pink. I am also going to use random shapes throughout of my magazine with
the white background as it fits with my target audience and I want to make sure
my house style is the same all the way through my pop magazine. I have decided
to use three different images along the bottom of the page one will be a close
up one will be a long shot and one will be a medium shot. I have decided to use
three completely different camera angles to show the verity that I can produce.
The images that will be in these three photos will content with the text that
will be on the page showing a picture of what will be on that page. I will use
two columns on my content page and will also use this on my double page spread.
The mast head for the content page will be black but in the same font as the
text that I have used on the front cover I have decided that it will be in a different
colour to show the reader that the mast head on the front cover is the most important
page so this will be different from the rest of the pages throughout the
magazine. The columns will contain ten rows on each row it will show a page number and a short title on what that page will be called for explain my double page spread will be on page 10 and is about Ella Field so it will say "Page 10 - Ella Fields Tell Us More". This will continue for the other pages the numbers will also be in order by the way the magazine will be set out.
Front Cover Mock
Here is my mock of what my front cover is
going to look like as you can see I have chosen my large main image to fill the whole of the
page using it as the back ground as well as the main image. The image will have
a white back ground making the image, mast head and the plugs and puffs stand
out more. On my main image I will be using a medium close up of my model doing
something with her hands. She will also start in my double page spread showing
that the magazine mostly focuses on her. My mast head will be in a large fount
around 90 - 100 in a hot pink colour at the top left hand side of the page.I have chosen to call my magazine "Simply Pop" because its short and snappy easy to remember and also there is no previous magazines which have used this mast head name. I
have also used my research by knowing to put the mast head to the left so it can be
viewed well in stores where it will be sold. The font that i will be using will
be a sans serif font I have chosen this fount
because it’s a very girly font and would fit with my target audience i have been
looking through the styles of font that i think will best suit my front page
and will decide when creating my cover which best fits in with my image.
My puffs and plugs which will be scatted across the cover will be in the same style
font as the mast head. The colours in which I will be using for these will be
in the hot pink the same as the mast head or black to stand out from the back
ground. Finally, my main strap line will be in a larger font from the puffs and
plugs on average about 75 and will be across the center on the
image more towards the right on the main cover.

Double Page Spread - Interview
Here we have the hottest star that
is just about to release her new single into the UK. Ella Field came to light in 2010 when winning the talent show "Fame" in the city Chicago, then went on to selling over 20,000 singles in the US. After her single made such a massive hit she went onto create an album and to promote it in the US only and because this was also a massive hit. She has come all the way from the United States Ella. Hey Ella thank you for coming to our studio today.
Ella: Its okay, thanks for having me here in
the UK, I love It here.
Interviewer: So Ella you’re first ever single is going
to be released into the UK how do you do feel about that?
Ella: Omg! I’m so excited I can’t wait I am
performing it live in the UK for the first time why I am over here. I am very nervous but excited to see all the fans and to show
them my new single.
“New Single”
Interviewer: What’s the next step after releasing your new single in the UK?
Ella: Well we are not meant to be telling
anyone but I am setting up my first tour which hopefully will be in the beginning
of 2014. It will be my first ever tour and hopefully my first of many.
Interviewer: oooh! We look forward in hearing
more about that in the future. So your new single is called “Free” is there any
reason for the lyrics and song name about this single?
Ella: Well as you may know it’s been in the
news release I did just split up with my boyfriend and this song is just about
how there’s no one holding me back now. I can make my own decisions without
worrying about anyone else.
Interviewer: Yes we all heard about you breaking
up. But we have heard rumours about you being a new wag can you tell us
anything about this?
Ella: oh god! NOOO! Me and Tom are just
really good friends and have been since we were young and the papers have just
got the wrong end of the stick. He’s like a brother to me.
“He’s
like a brother to me”
Interviewer: We will believe that when we see it
haha, so how you loving the new fame being in all the magazines and papers you
loving it?
Ella: It’s better than you can ever imagine
everyone sees it on television but it’s nothing that anyone can imagine it’s absolutely
amazing. I have loved every moment of it. I’m living the child hood dream I wanted.
Interviewer: Awh! That’s great! Well that’s all we
have time for today unfortunately. Thanks again Ella we look forward to seeing
you on the X Factor and seeing you soon. Look out for Ella Fields new single
out soon in stores.
Models
When thinking about my celebrity's I also have to think about what they where called, when doing research I had to think about names that have already been used and had to look at the styles of names which are out already. I noticed that the names for pop celebrity's are short and two syllable names I have came to the decision that my main star will be called "Ella Field" I chose this name because when I think of this name no celebrity's that are out have that name so no one pops into my head. Also, its easy to remember that's why I think that this would fit the genre of my magazine best.
Here are some images which I have found which I am going to take some ideas from and use on my model:
Front Cover-
I decided to use one of my friends as my main
model for my magazine front cover. I have decided to use her as the model
because she has and older looking face and is pretty with long blonde hair.
Meaning that the style of model that she is will fit with what my target audience
will be attracted to, they will look at the main image model as a role model or
someone they are attracted depending on what they think. I wanted my main image
to be a close up of just my models face, but I they did some research about Pop
magazines main images and they were mostly close up or medium close ups
therefore I decided to do my main image as that style to. I also noticed that
they were all doing a movement with their hands and that’s what I will proceed
to do on my front image. Making the model where bright colours that do not
class with my house style “Hot pink” and also sit the model on a white
background making the model stand out.
Content Page-
On my content page I will stick with my models being at the age range as my model on my main image therefore it sticks in with my house style and also keeping my target audience fixed with the magazine and audience. In my content page I will use a different image showing what is on every page. My models will be shot in different styles like extreme close ups, close ups and medium shots ect.. I will use these to make them look effective making my content page look more interesting i will also use the similar outfit colours that i used on my main image because i want my image to fit with all my house style throughout the magazine.
Double Page Spread-
My double page spread model will be the same
model which I will be using on the front cover; I will be using the same model
because this will be my main story in my magazine. On this page my model will
be wearing the same outfit which she is wearing on my main image. But I have
decided that I will do a long shot of my model because it will show more of her
body langue also she will be in a pose that makes the
target audience want to look at it other than just stood there.

Proposal - Music Magazine
For my media project I have been given the task to create
a front cover, content page and double page spread of a music magazine. My
target audience that I have chosen to aim my magazine at is older teenagers (16-18 year olds). I have decided to use this as my target audience because I think
there is a gap in the industry which doesn’t focus on the less “Hot new
artists” therefore by doing this I can fit my magazine into this gap. I have
chosen the genre of pop because with television program “X Factor” and “The
Voice” artists such as “Jessie J” and
“Little Mix” there is not a magazine in that industry which fit with this
genre.
In my research I have looked at how different pop
magazines are produced such as the way the main image has been taken and what
shots have been used. I also reached the types of plugs and puffs which a pop
magazine advertises. I also analyse magazine front covers, content pages and a
double page spread. I compared different styles of pop magazines for example
top of the pops and smash hits. I
will use cameras, computers and editing program called photo shop on the Macs
which will be hired out in a suite with all the technology which I will need to
produce it. We will produce my magazine I will use photo shop on the pcs. We
will have a budget of £5,000.

Production Company Name and Logo
When I was creating my logo and company name I had to think about company's which already existed meaning I had to do some research on logos in the UK. My first idea was to use my initials "PS", I then did some research and found out that the company "Play station" had these to letters as there logo. I then decided because it was such a big well known company I did not want the public getting the two logos mixed up and getting done for copyright because of the similarity. Therefore, I then changed my idea and decided to use "Singer's Publishing" to be my logo and company name.

My School Magazine content page Evaluation
My task that I was given was to create as content page for a free school magazine my target audience that I will be aiming the magazine at is 11-18 year old's going from year 7 to all the way through to year 13. This magazine will be giving out for free from the school in the magazine it will contain news about whats going off around school and how the school is going. The house style which I have used is black, white and grey, I used these colours on the front cover so have used these through the magazine so I don't concentric myself.
The text style with i have used are rounded letters in a sans serif font to make the text look more satisfied The text will be bold and black I will place it n the top left hand corner so it makes the magazine look good as it will be the same as the front giving it an effect and showing once again the house style which I am trying to show. I have used the same font style with the sans serif, bold and black on the writing context about the page numbers and whats on the pages therefore matching with the mast head.
Finally, I have used images for my content page, so if the target audience doesn't understand what will be on that page it gives them more of a hint and help them along the way. There will be a image for each different text therefore making the page look even and symmetrical I also made sure that the images have a dark background as I did not want them to blend in with the grey back ground which I set that fixed in perfectly with the house style.

Double Page spread 2 - analysis
This double page spread if found in the pop magazine "smash hits" as you can see we have a young hip celebrity who is an idol to a lot of teenage girls. Making her the main story line in this magazine. The target audience for this magazine is teenage girls using an idol who young girls want to look and act like meaning they will read the magazine to find out more information about the star. The house style is carried out from the front cover to the content page and now to the double page spread showing the effect and making the magazine look recognizable. The image that has been used is a long shot of the singer who the article is about giving her one full A4. In the image the singer is where very dark colours in front of a white bright background making her stand out this makes the image clear and easy to see.
By using a image so big if the reader does not look at the content page then when they are flicking through the magazine and see this image they will insistently know what this part of the magazine will be about and stop and read or move on to a bit they are more interested in. Also it shows the reader what the magazine is trying to focus on and who is the new latest celebrity to look and be like. This article is set out in to columns like how you would read a news paper making it easy to follow and read without getting to confused. The text is very informal giving the target audience more reason to read it as it has been written how the interview would have been spoken.
The mast head is large and takes up one half of the A4 i have been used through the colours that are used on the house style and written in a informal way as if the celebrity is speaking t you. This mast head is giving you a briefing on what the article is actually going to be about making it easy for the reader/target audience. The text that has been used throughout the article is very simple, clear and bold this fits in with the style of writing and how the house style works throughout this magazine. I will be taking some of the ideas from this double page spread and adding them into my own designs.
Content Page 2 - analysis
This is my second content page for a pop magazine for the magazine "We love pop" the content page for this magazine is total different for to the "top of the pops" I think this content page is less clear and not as easy to understand. When looking at this content page its set out into sections with the mast head at the top left hand corner then the information set into four different sections. The target audience is hard to work out for this magazine because the colours which are used are not girly so will not attract girls to pick up this magazine they are very boring colours which don't stand out very well. Although the images that have been used on this page are of hot boy celebrity s so shows you that this target audience is aimed at girls as well as boys.
The mast head is very bold and clear with the "o" blocked out this give these content page a different look for the magazine as it is carried out as the house style and is used throughout the magazine. The font that's been used is sans serif this fits in well with this magazine as an appropriate size for reading . The text on the page is very informal and shows us as the reader that the target audience is aimed at teenagers so they understand what they are reading. On this content page there as been a equal amount of use of the images and text giving the reader the decision what they what to look at to find the page they are looking for.
Content Page 1 - analysis
For this task I also had to analyse a content page for a pop magazine. Here is a picture of a content page from the pop magazine "Top of the pops", as you can see the page is nicely set and out and you can easily understand how to work out what page everything is on. The house style that is used throughout the top of the pops magazine has been continued here. using bright girly colours to attract the target audience in this case is young teenage girls. The fount that had been used for the mast head is very curly so you know that it is the serif font style making the text have the effect of it has been hand written. This font attracts the target audience because it is a nice font to clearly read and the reader can read it easily.
This content page has been split up into sections mainly into three columns and then into sections with a brief heading at the top telling you what these pages include.I think this is a good idea because if the reader is looking through the magazine for one thing it can easily be found without having to read through the whole of the content page. images which link with pages that are in the magazine have the page numbers onto of them making it easier to find. The page numbers that have images that are connected with them are usually the most popular stories that are in the magazine because the magazine company will not want to bore you with stories that the reader will not want to know a lot about.
the page numbers are big, bold and bright making it clear for the reader to understand which page goes to which page number, this will make the magazine sell more because the target audience that it is aimed at will not want a magazine that is confusing and hard to work out where everything is. They have also done this buy putting a image of the main font cover on that tent page the reader will like this idea because they don't have to read through all the topics on the content page to see which one will be about a story they have seen on the front. it shows you clearly and the reader will be able to find the story easier making a big selling point for the magazine.

Double Page spread 1 - analysis
Also for my research on pop music magazines I had to analysis
a double page spread which you would find inside a pop magazine. I found this
one of two of a very famous boy band interview. The magazine which this is from
is “top of the pops” this magazine has not gone along with the same house style
as they used on the front and gone for not as famine colours such ass greens,
blues and greys. As you can see the double page spread is seen as one page
which connects together but you can also look at it as two pages as well. I think
the way this is set out is a good idea because if the target audience don’t like
all the band members they can clearly see which part is about there favourite
and can pick and read that bit other than having to read the whole article.
These articles do not have a main title telling the reader what it is going to
be about and just have the names of the celebrity’s at the top of the page
showing which part of the article will be about that typical celebrity. The font
in which they have used for the names is very swirly and is a serif font which
gives the effect of it hand written, this links in with the article because it’s
like the celebrity writing down the answers and gives it more of a personal
effect on the reader.
The article is set out into columns separating the sections
making the article easier to understand and more readable with the image of the
celebrity who is talking next to it. I believe that the target audience for
this is still girls because of which celebrity’s they have used the “hottest
new boy band” which girls will love and want to learn more about. Although they
have not used a very girly house style they have I used images that are large
and clear that the girls would like to look. The images that have been took are
medium- close up’s while the pop stars “Harry and Zayn” and looking straight through
the camera lens giving eye contact with the reader giving off the effective of
them looking at them.
The beginning of the interview starts at the top left side
under the first mast head they have used a white font colour on a dark coloured
background by using these colours it makes the writing stand out more and look
brighter. The magazine have used a bold large font making the writing less
therefore keeping the reader engaged so it looks a lot of writing but really it’s
only a small part of information. Throughout the article top of the pops have
used words such as “exclusive” and “new” as the reader will be more interested
when they see these words and thinking they are finding parts put about the celebrity’s
personal life that the public are just starting to find out.
Music Magazine - Cover Analysis
For my music magazine I have chosen the genre "Pop" so I decided to analyse the front cover of the very famous "Top of the pops". This is one of the most famous pop magazines in the UK and has been around for many years and the company is still growing strong. As soon as this magazine cover catches your eyes you know that the target audience is aimed at teenage girls you can tell this by the colours which they use such as the pinks and purples they uses these colours in most of their magazine making these colours the house style throughout the magazine. This makes the reader know without even having to pick it up as these colours will stand out on the shelf in a store. The mast head is in front of the large main image as it is more recognizable then if the image was in front, meaning the mast head will stand out more also making it easier to read. The font style which "Top of the pops" use is serif font because the edges are very curly making it look girly and add to the magazine on ways in which to attract the target audience, this makes the magazine look more effective than just using the hot pink colour which they have used.
The main image is the large image in the center of the page which is also the back ground in this case. They have used the newest hot celebrity which people around the UK loved at the time this magazine came out, this attracts the reader and target audience because they want to learn more about what they are doing and look at them like they are the role model. The celebrity which they have used is a young pretty teenage girl which is a idol to the young teenagers. In the image they have used a white background this is a good idea as it makes the text and image around it stand out more. The celebrity is in a dark blue dress which is a different colour from the text, mast head and back ground because the dress is bright and does not class with any of the colours making you focus at the image when you look at the front of the magazine. By using white and blue as the main image it makes the rest of the cover more clear as nothing blends in so you can see all the text making the cover clearer and easier to see what’s going to be inside the magazine.
The at the bottom of the cover has a purple back ground making it stand out from the image and the back ground colour. This would be the main selling point of the magazine as most girls will see this and buy the magazine just for the posters of celebrity’s which they are interested in. You can see the seven different posters which you will get in the magazine meaning you don’t even have to flick through the magazine to check you can just pick it up have a look at the cover and then decide whether you want the magazine or not. By advertising this on the front the magazine is giving off more information which they find in it other than just extra cover lines giving the magazine a wider range of target audience as people who just buy magazines for posters can now buy this one.
The main cover line which links in with the main image is on top of the image in a hot pink circle that matches the mast head. By using these colours it stands out on top of the blue which is on the main image, making the text stand out from the rest. I think that this is not one of the best main cover lines that I have seen before because it is not very big and only small therefore, it’s not very clear and you have to look at the magazine properly to clearly read what it says. This could be improved by using a bigger font or using a different shape to put the text into.
This main cover does not contain a lot of plugs it has four to both sides of the main image. They have put these on the white back grounds in hot pink writing with an image to show what they are on about and give the reader more ideas on which will be on that page of information in the magazine. This gives the reader a brief bit of information for a double page spread in the magazine; these plugs are usually the top stories that are in the magazine to persuade the reader more to buy the magazine. Also they on the front of this magazine they have used a few puff which are words that are more likely to attract the reader to buy and read the magazine in this magazine they have used words such as “sizzling” “exclusive” . The writer has choose to use words such as this because it makes the reader think that its new news and that they need to know about it, meaning they buy the magazine. By using puffs on the front of the magazine it’s a good way in which persuading and telling them they need this magazine to know all the hot new news. This using many persuading techniques which entices the reader to buy the magazine such as lists of three, onomatopoeia and rhetorical questions.

Target Audience:Codes and Convections of a pop magazine
I have been set a task to create a music magazine of a genre of my choice. I have decided to chose pop because I feel this best suits my personality and what I find most interesting. Therefore I will be able to use the information I know about it in my work. The target audience for my audience will be teenagers as they will be most interested in the pop industry. Pop music is mostly by young people because this is why the target audience are this age range. They look up to them and want to be like them like their role models.
The two most popular pop magazines which are in store at the moment in the UK are ‘smash hits’ and ‘Top of the pops’, this are mostly aimed at girls as they use very famine colours which attracts the target audience. They will usually put a big image of a young boy which is very popular such as ‘Justin Bieber’ giving more reasons for them to by the magazine as they want to read more about them. ‘Smash hits’ is a very poplar magazine but is aimed at the older teenagers with different types of celebrities such as Jason Mraz he is a celebrity which older teenagers and young adults would listen to. Other than Olly Murs and One direction which are the teenage heart breaks would have a target audience of younger teenagers which would be found in magazines such as ‘Top of the Pops’.
Pop magazines are not doing very well anymore as people has have access to the internet really easily. Meaning that they can research the latest music without having to go out and by the latest pop magazine. They can see the new hits, information about what’s going off and also see the latest images. Over the years there have been many pop magazines but because things have developed such as the internet they have gone out of business and the two main ones which are left are ‘smash hits’ and ‘top of the pops’ but they are not as popular as they used to be.

My School Magazine cover Evaluation
I was set a task to create a school magazine cover to give to students from years 7-13 and it had to appeal to them all and tell you news about what is going off around the school. I choose my mast head to be called ‘Target’ I thought this would be a good title for it because it links into the schools values. I placed this into the left hand corner at the top in black with a white outline so it stands out on the shelf and makes it look effective. I choose house style colours of grey, white and black I choose these because I think that they are very formal and look very respectable for a school magazine. I repeated and used these colours on my content page Aswell therefore making the entire magazine connect together. I edited my main image to black and white in the back ground to match the house style also.
This takes the whole of the cover up showing it stand out from the rest and connecting to the main cover line the cover line I have created shows and tells the reader exactly what they will be reading about even without having to go all the way through the magazine to find out what its going to be talking about. I think that my magazine suits my target audience because it is the age range from 11 year olds to 18 year olds meaning it has to be simple but informing them at the same time. Using photo shop I created a photo which I would class as a plug when I was creating this I thought what I thought of another topic which the reader would be really interested in. I took a photo of three school pupils and put a background onto it making the image looking more realistic and showing that they went toParis .
Next to this image I wrote a cover line which connects with the image to tell them about what’s happening in the photo and to see what is going to be in the magazine. I tried used 6th former's as the models for my images because I think that they would incise readers and students round the school because they look up to them as older role models. Therefore they will want to learn about what they have been doing and make them want to do what they are doing. When improving my front cover I think that I could have used more cover lines and strap line to persuade the reader to read it more. This would also explain more about what’s inside the magazine giving them more information I could have done this by doing a strap line along the bottom of the cover using the house colours. When using photo shop to create my front cover I used lots of different tools such as the magic wand to edit my images, the text tool to add my strap lines and cover lines, rubber tool to make it look faded and add effect onto the images.

Magazine - Front Cover Analysis
The mast head is in the left hand corner of the magazine so when the magazine is in stores on the shelf and is behind other magazine it can be easily spotted by the reader. The mast head is wrote in white which makes it stand out from the bright red background that it is on top of giving the mast head a clear standing out view of the magazine. They use the colours red for the mast head because it attracts the audience as it gives a sign of alert in the readers head. You will see this with other gossip magazines such as "Heat" they use read because its what the human brain is most attracted to. This is a house style for this magazine as throughout it they use the red from the background on where the mast head is, I have started to notice that the house style colours are used all the way through the "OK!" magazine but not on the contents pages which they tend to use the colours pink and purple so the magazine contradicts itself very well here by not using the house colours.
The large image has been used as the background in this magazine and this runs with "OK!" house style they will more than likely use there main story lines image as the background of the magazine. Usually they use a celebrity which is really well know and popular in the news around this time also they will usually use a girl which women would like to look/act like and is a role model to them. In okay as there main image they will usually use a celebrity that have juicy gossip about them and is in the news a lot at the time the magazine goes into stores. The main cover line is sat on top of the main image giving you more information on why they celebrity is the hottest topic in the magazine. This magazine write there main cover lines and extra cover lines in red boxes to match the mast head going along withe the house style once again.
They also do this with other cover lines and use puffs within them to engage the reader.
The strap line for the "OK!" magazine runs under the mast head giving the reader the attraction. I have found that for the "OK!" magazine one of the biggest selling points is the puffs. I think that the puffs are one of the biggest selling points in the "OK!" magazine because they are highlighted in yellow making them stand out from the rest of the text and images that are used on the front cover of the magazine they use words like "new" and "exclusive". They have to used these words to persuade the reader to buy the magazine and see the new things that not many people have seen before. The font which has been used on the front cover is sans serif they have used this font because the target audience is not always just aimed at females some males do like it and enjoy reading it. The font which has been used also fits in right with the format of writing as it is informal but not as informal as other magazine it has no use of slang words in this magazine making the magazine look and seem more formal.
